COMPANY HISTORY est.1984

My name is Mark Davies and I am the director of the company and the main trainer.

I have just completed a City & Guilds 7302 in teaching and also hold the City & Guilds 7750 certificate in dog grooming. I have been grooming for a little over 20 years having built the

company up from scratch.

I started showing from the age of seven with Cavilliers King Charles Spaniels, then shortly after moved into
breeding also handling dogs at Crufts. At the age of fourteen I started working at a

local boarding kennels where I gained 5 years experience and knowledge working with a

vast variety of breeds of dog.

At Seventeen I opened my first shop at the Kennels, whilst also starting a mobile round, in the
first year doing a little over 250 dogs. Within two years the mobile round had expanded to such
an extent that the company moved into a larger shop and it grew again over the next ten years.

I've worked with and alongside Vet's to gain extra knowledge and understanding of animal welfare.
Local Veterinary Centres hold my company in very high esteem. In 1998 I started to compete
in obedience (my second love) and within a short while progressed to novice to compete at the
highest level ticket.

In 2004 we entered phase 3 of my business development plan which involved moving to a
larger purpose built Training and Grooming Academy. Our customer base now exceeds over
2000 clients. We have one of the most modern Grooming Training Centres in the UK featuring:

8 all electric grooming tables
Classroom equipped with video, computer and photographic training aids
Fully central heated
Separate wet area
Air conditioned drying room
State of the art drying equipment
