No formal qualifications are required, just enthusiasm for dogs and grooming.

We train a maximum of 4 students at any one time, this allows one to one tuition from our two wet room trainers and our two salon trainers..

All courses run from 9.30am to 4.30pm approximately excluding Wednesday which is a day off.

Yes- however we feel that you must attend at least 8 days in a block to ensure the training is beneficial to the student.

4. Yes! Our purpose built training academy in the West Midlands was developed with this purpose in mind. Since 2005 we have been training students to achieve a high standard in dog grooming. Our Dog Grooming course is structured to provide the practical hands-on training for those wishing to enter the field of dog grooming as a professional Dog Groomer

Firstly, we recommend that our students aim to book in 3 or 4 dogs each day, depending on the breed, complexity of the groom andsuspected condition of the coat. This should allow new groomers to be able to generate enough revenue to run your business and to draw a modest wage. In time, with experience gained, the number of dogs groomed each day should increase towards 8 or 9.

Allbreed aim to provide the novice or professional with first class tuition and support to achieve their goal.  Whether a pet owner wishing to groom their own dog; an individual wishing to enter the profession of dog grooming and achieve a recognised industry qualification, or the professional groomer wishing to up skill or just improve on current techniques. We are one of the few centres in the UK, who can facilitate the training, assessment and written examination for the City & Guilds at the same premises
